Thursday, March 30, 2006 35 years ago today, March 30, 1971 at about 2:30 PM, in the Republic of Vietnam, Quang Tri Province, my unit was in a fire fight while attempting to recover a helicopter pilot that had been shot down , my tank commander Terry Lee Bosworth was fatally wounded and died the next day. I was promoted to Sargent and put in for the Bronze Star. I can still remember his face and think of him often. posted by Bro.
